The Plymouth City Transport Preservation Group was formed in July 2006. Our aim is to preserve the history of local public transport through vehicle preservation and archiving of photos, documents and artifacts and making the vehicles accessible to all.

We have attended two meetings in recent months with other preservation groups in Devon. Following initial statement. Hope to fill out some details through 2020.
" As trustees and enthusiasts alike get older and recruitment of younger members becomes somewhat differcult. Serious questions need to be asked of a future direction.
Other groups face similar problems and recent months there has been a desire to engage with one another to explore the possibility of achieving something on a joint scale.
It is to early to fully explain in any detail, but two meetings have been held where the feeling was of a mutual and positive nature. Individuals from five groups have been tasked with taking things to the next stage. We will keep you all informed of its progress "
Whatever 2021 has in store for us, we will carry on as best we can progressing vehicle preservation and other aspects of Plymouth City Transport Preservation Group.
