We are very grateful for Richard Stevens and his team at Plymouth Citybus for hosting and helping us put together our 1st attempt at putting on a rally. We were blessed with beautiful blue skies and a very hot sun (miracle for august bank holiday!) An early start to get buses fuelled and in place ready for the public to veiw. A big Thankyou to our members who gave up their day to man our stall and keep the buses on the move. Especailly Ralph Ellis who i don't think left to despatch stops all day making sure the services left correctly, Citybus staff who helped as marshalls around the site. Vehicle owners who travelled from all over the region to make the day a success.
We carried 1892 passenger journeys to the Barbican, Hoe, tamar bridge and Royal William Yard....... More news and stories to follow plus alot more images. Any photos welcome. send to [email protected]
