21 JANUARY 2018:
On the above date we held our very first public open day to showcase our vehicles and new depot facility at Outland Road, Plymouth. The day was a great success and we'd like to thank all those who came along. Below are some photos from the day with thanks to Dan Phillips.
07 JANUARY 2018:
Working parties this weekend have resulted in a significant tidy up of our new site at Outland Road with our thanks going to those who gave up their time to help. We will be repeating these each weekend throughout January from 11AM onwards on both Saturdays and Sundays so please do come along if you can; your help will make a difference and be gratefully received.
18 DECEMBER 2017:
Over recent weekends we have made a big shift of our vehicles and property to our new site at Outland Road, vacating Colebrook for the final time on December 17th. Thanks to all those who have come along to help us out. We'd like to wish all of our members and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you again in 2018.
03 DECEMBER 2017:
The past few days are certainly the beginning of a new era for the Group; this being our move to our new site at Outland Road, Plymouth. Vehicles 45, 204 and 312 arrived on Friday 1st December, with the remainder on Sunday 3rd December. There will be more working parties going forward to properly unload all of our items and get the site setup how we want it; keep an eye out for dates in the not too distant future.
10 OCTOBER 2017:
We'd like to remind all members about the upcoming trips to both Swansea and the Plymouth Twilight event. Please visit the upcoming events page for further details.
Furthermore, we can announce Citycoach 312 W312SDV and SPD 45 Y645NYD have joined the fleet.
08 OCTOBER 2017:
Please can all members keep an eye on their emails for information regarding the Group Vehicle Insurance and the potential depot relocation.
20 SEPTEMBER 2017:
We extend a warm welcome to Dennis Dart MPDs 202 and 204, X202 CDV and X204 CDV to the Group. Both are in the process of being purchased from Plymouth Citybus and further information will follow on their fleet pages soon.
30 AUGUST 2017:
Leyland Atlantean 137 has changed owners. Richard Stevens is the new owner and we wish him the best of luck with his new acquision.
16 JULY 2017:
Volvo B10M-50 no. 182 (G621OTV) has left the PCTPG. Following its recent conversion to open-top it has been sold on.
18 JUNE 2017:
Volvo Citybus 175 will be changing hands in the near future as Group members Bryan Harris and Andy Cooksey have negotiated a transfer deal. We wish Bryan all the best with his new acquisition and look forward to seeing 175 back on the roads very soon.
23 MAY 2017:
The Plymouth City Transport Preservation Group are pleased to announce that we have a new Chairman - Jason Beverley. Jason has been a member of the group since its inception and has contributed a lot of his time and energy to the group during this time.
Following our AGM, almost all of the Groups committee has been replaced. We wish them all the best of luck in their new roles and thank those who have served on the committee in the past. If you would like to see who is running each department, see out 'Contact Us' page.
